I’m Dan Rose, and yes, I’m actually interested in what you do. Why? Because I have a passion for designing and developing visually rich websites based on strong and clever brands.

Identity

Infallibly, my clients have received the most complements not on just their logo or colors, but how unique their business cards are. And there’s good reason for that: I feel it’s important to make every piece, big or small, that you intend putting your logo on, intentionally branded your way.

I maintain relationships with reputable printers and have a good sense for how things will translate from the screen to paper. With plenty experience designing brochures, stationery, and signage, I can suggest the proper medium to communicate your message.

Truth be told, this is where it all pays off for me. Your brand, your message… on stage. Having a clean, innovative website can legitimize your cause to many would-be patrons. I’ve had a lot of opportunity to design for national and local clients, so I know what sophisticated and contemporary is supposed to look like.

I’m not just a Photoshop junky either. I enjoy developing my designs as well, using hand-coded HTML & CSS to deliver a sound website. Just like this site, I can employ the power of WordPress to give my clients a content management system easy to use and understand.

‘Officially’ I’m a graphic designer, but what does that mean? I suppose I’m better suited as a graphic ‘jack of all trades’ but that wouldn’t draw you to my site now would it? I’ve held graphic design positions for the past 8 years now in both Connecticut and New York. I try to immerse myself in everything visually, from logo design to printed materials to websites and applications, and I consider myself well-versed in all pertinent design software, as well as HTML and CSS.

I also try to do a lot outside of my design work, but it becomes wonderfully integrated somehow. I’m an avid student of Bible study, and I really enjoy reading and exercise in my “spare time.” I’m also getting married in August, and designing things from invitations to our wedding website has been pleasantly enjoyable. Oh, and I also play my Wii more than the common working professional, but to no shame.
